Portraits – Samaya

Last fall I was slammed with a bunch of photo sessions so I didn’t have time to post. Since the NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship game is a few days away, here’s a session from last October that I really enjoyed photographing. From the start, Samaya’s Mom gave me full creative freedom, which always makes the shoot even more fun. I took some inspiration from the NBA 2K23 cover style and wanted to create a portrait that felt bold and dynamic. Overall, it was just an easy, enjoyable session. Always grateful for moments like this where I get to create, connect, and have a good time doing it. Enjoy the photos!
